cofounded Andes 8 years ago in Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan. He has been in
charge of Technical Marketing and R&D organizations, covering product
definition, product development, and product marketing. Before Andes, he worked
for Taiwan’s leading Design Service and IP company, Faraday Technology, for 18
months. Previously, he spent 12 years in management and engineering positions in
several Silicon Valley companies including Sun Microsystems, Afara Websystems
(acquired by Sun), C-Cube Microsystems, MIPS (Silicon Graphics) and Intergraph
Corp., working on processors, multimedia and networking. Dr. Su received his
B.S. in Electrical Engineering from NTU, M.S. in Computer Science from NTHU,
both in Taiwan, and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at
