Overview:
As LED-based lighting systems become more popular, the number of engineers and lighting designers new to the technology increases. To help bring them up to speed, Nu Horizons Electronics has published an application note on device selection methodology for LED lighting systems.

This webinar focuses on the LED driver portion of the application note. We will discuss each of the system requirements and device characteristics that must be considered when choosing an LED driver, how these characteristics are interdependent with other sub-systems within the design and demonstrate Linear Technology's LED driver selection tool. Finally, we will use our OSRAM Diamond Dragon demonstration board as a device selection example.
