The OEM’s and CEM’s also rate their experiences with the distributors across 15 different metrics such as ease of doing business, customer service, pricing, website capabilities and many other factors.

Throughout his 30+ years of experience, Jim has developed considerable expertise in application of various quantitative and qualitative market research techniques to help leading B to B and technology companies better understand the needs of their customers and prospects. Beacon’s research in the USA and international markets has helped many of the world’s largest technology and technology publishing firms to make strategic decisions. Beacon’s research work has been written about by EETimes, Embedded Systems Design, Electronic Buyer’s News, Electronic Supply and Manufacturing, On Wall Street, Federal Computer Week, and other industry publications. Prior to that, he served as the Research Director at the Christian Science Monitor and Urban and Associates. He previously worked as a consultant to a wide variety of media companies including Knight-Ridder and Scripps-Howard.
