This webcast presents the circuit details for implementing a 1 ppm-accurate voltage source circuit based on ADI’s true 20-bit DAC IC (the AD5791) and associated support circuitry. There are many critical design considerations and complexities involved with achieving and maintaining a 1 ppm level of resolution and accuracy that is robust over time and temperature. Application considerations discussed in this webcast include noise management, output amplification and buffering requirements, the impact of thermoelectric voltage and mechanical stress, and optimum PCB layout techniques.
