Designing Automotive Systems with the ISO 26262 Standard
With ISO 26262 moving into the spotlight for automotive functional safety, more questions and discussions are emerging around the application of the standard to actual automotive systems. Although ISO 26262 is a relatively new standard, other industries have been applying safety standards such as IEC 61508 for a long time and experiences from those industries can serve as beneficial examples. In this webinar, we will draw on QNX’s experience in other safety-critical industries and discuss some of the key concepts of ISO 26262 and their implications on the design of automotive systems.
