Hany Elhak has over 15 years of EDA and semiconductor experience spanning both technical and marketing responsibilities. Prior to EDA, Hany worked as an RF designer, designing RF integrated circuits for cellular and wireless networking standards. He wrote six IEEE papers on RFIC design. Hany has a BSEE and an MSEE from Ain Shams University, Cairo and an MBA with honors from UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
Corporate Applications Engineer
Fredrik Ivarsson is a Custom Design Corporate Applications Engineer at Synopsys. He joined Synopsys Denmark as an Application Consultant six years ago. Fredrik wrote the original schematic editor functional specification for Custom Designer and has been working with the front-end and simulation tools of Custom Designer. Fredrik continues to work closely with customers, sales, and R&D to plan and develop the requirements and business cases for custom design and simulation tools. One of Fredrik’s specialties is RF design and implementation.
Fredrik holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Lund Institute of Technology, Sweden. Prior to Synopsys, Fredrik was employed at Ericsson Mobile Communications, Cadence Design Systems, and VIA Technologies.
