Indiana University Health Proton Therapy Center relies on QNX software

Unlike conventional x-rays that inflict the most damage where they enter
a patient (and continuing damage as they exit) protons do less damage
as they pass through tissue and significant damage where they stop. The
challenge is to control the proton beams so that they stop exactly where
you want them — the tumor. For this reason, the Indiana University
Health Proton Therapy Center relies on QNX software. Visit http://www.qnx.com.
