A fundamental shift in how an article and its chemical substances are defined is forcing entire supply chains to reevaluate their REACH regulatory compliance programs following the Court of Justice of the European Union announcement on September 10, 2015. While the new clarity of the rule addresses longstanding concerns, it places an added burden on companies producing articles and chemical components.
