Usability of Some Blind Synchronizers in DS-CDMA Systems
This paper discusses usability of some blind synchronization methods in direct sequence spread spectrum (DS/SS) applications. It addresses the conventional correlator, multiple signal classification (MUSIC), and minimum output energy (MOE) methods, and considers in which kind of radio channels these methods can successfully be used. Usability depends heavily on the structure of the channel correlation matrix, which is explained in detail.
