Surround view camera system for ADAS on TI's TDAx SoCs
The automotive surround view camera system is an emerging automotive ADAS technology that assists the driver in parking the vehicle by allowing them to see a top down view of the surroundings of the vehicle. Such a system normally consists of about six wide angle cameras mounted around the vehicle, each facing a different direction. From these camera inputs, a composite bird eye view of the vehicle is synthesized and shown to the drive in real-time during parking. This paper presents TI’s 360-degree surround view camera solution and its implementation on TI’s Automotive ADAS system on chip processors.
