Do we live in a truly wireless world with the ability to enjoy seamless connectivity wherever we go? The general answer to this question is that, while we are certainly approaching a truly connected and wireless world, the ultimate seamlessly connected wireless experience we would all like to enjoy still evades us. Extending the usable coverage areas for the mobile phone or notebook is only one example of how Seamless Mobility may prove useful in creating incremental improvements in network availability. To meet this challenge of developing the seamless mobility infrastructure, Freescale Semiconductor is a driving force in the quest for seamless mobility with architectures and technologies.
