An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a recording of the electrical activity on the body surface generated by the heart. The front end of an ECG must be able to deal with extremely weak signals ranging from 0.5mV to 5.0mV. This presents a designer with challenges of selecting precise and sensitive frontend components and efficient processing and display solutions. These microcontrollers integrate features such as USB, GP I/O, LCD Controllers and Ultra-low power modes for Battery powered portable solutions.
