EVs have gone mainstream, leading to an inflection point of high volume adoption. To stay competitive, system designers need to keep a close eye on both battery and BMS technologies, which profoundly affect the end-user experience.

This paper introduces a solution that easily addresses multiple stack monitoring topologies and configurations. It utilizes an adjustable floating topology, enabling it to monitor a very high voltage battery stack, unfettered by its own 14.5 V voltage rating.
