Implementing Programmable T-Networks Using Xicor Digitally Controlled Potentiometers (XDCPs)Current to Voltage Converters
A common application of T-networks is current to voltage
conversion circuits (I-V converters). These circuits commonly use a
T-network in the feedback loop of an inverting amplifier to set the
gain of the conversion circuit. When the resistors in the T-network
are replaced with XDCPs, a programmable I-V converter results, and
the circuit is now on the bus.
