Getting Started with DLP Pico Technology
This document is a guide to getting started with DLP Pico technology for display applications. DLP technology system components are explained with details about tradeoffs that need to be considered when designing with DLP technology. The application note concludes with three clear steps to get started with DLP Pico technology. Texas Instruments DLP technology is a micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) technology that modulates light using a digital micromirror device (DMD). Each micromirror of a DMD represents a pixel on the display and is independently controlled, in sync with color sequential illumination, to create stunning images on any surface.
