Enabling Dynamic Virtual Client Computing with Intel vPro Technology
This paper discusses emerging direction for Intel vPro technology called Dynamic Virtual Client computing. DVC is a client virtualization architecture combining hardware- and software-enabled features based on the foundation elements on Intel Virtualization Technology and on Active Management Technology. It examines Intel vPro technology that enables DVC and examine the underpinnings associated with Intel’s core manageability, security and virtualization technologies. Finally, it presents a vision for client virtualization and discuss future DVC solution integration opportunities.
