The design concept of an embedded dust density monitor is discussed in this paper. The existing system consists of discrete elements and super wideband diode. This paper describes steps involved in designing the sensible embedded data logging system. Embedded data logging system is developed principles of high speed digital circuit, MCS51 core and source code. The prototype is developed then it is implemented in a printed circuit board. Response of designed embedded system and the response of existing system are compared with Ringelmann method. It is proved that the embedded unit is more reliable and cost-effective than the existing one.
