The efficiency of the semiconductors is measured in terms of speed and power. The semiconductor designs today are challenged to provide higher and still higher speeds on each new product introduced. The signal integrity checks become very important to ensure that the signals, after traversing through various stages, reach the destination with a valid level. There are many tools available to do the system level signal integrity analysis. In this paper, a cost effective approach to doing a system level analysis is discussed. This approach returns similar results as are seen with industry tools, though in a much more cost effective manner.
