Advanced Common Mode Control Techniques for Low Voltage Analog Signal Processors
This paper describes control of the common-mode (CM) component of a differential signal for a low voltage analog signal processor. Specifically, it is shown why the large input and output signal swings in an amplifier must be controlled through a common-mode feedback (CMFB) circuit. CMFB circuits for voltage and transconductance amplifiers are described.
