The mobile games market is set for significant growth, and the performance requirements to meet this opportunity are delivered through ARM cores working efficiently alongside the MBX family of graphics accelerators.

User’s expectations for 3D graphics performance are set by tethered gaming consoles. At present, retro-style mobile games are being offered in the market, the appeal of these being mainly to nostalgic older players. To attract younger players the mobile platform will need to meet more demanding expectations in terms of speed, quality and content availably. With the ARM/MBX solution, it is possible to deliver high performance and enable recent content on mobile or embedded platforms.
