Linear sensors feature performance improvements

Worcester, Mass. — Allegro MicroSystems, Inc. has made two key improvements to its popular line of continuous-time linear sensors with the introduction of its new A1301 and A1302 devices. These enhancements include a quiescent output voltage that is 50% of the supply voltage, and output sensitivity options of 1.3 mV per gauss (G) and 2.5 mV/G. This makes the new devices suitable for use in linear and rotary position sensing systems over the extended temperature range of -40&degC and 125&degC. Target applications include automotive, industrial and consumer markets.
