The new IEEE 802.11ax amendment (Wi-Fi 6) intends to improve the overall data throughput. In order to achieve this, Wi-Fi 6 introduced OFDMA for the first time, which enables the parallel communications with multiple stations (STA). Thomas Kneidel is a Product Manager for radio communications testers at Rohde & Schwarz. In this role, he focuses on test and measurement solutions for WLAN RF testing. He previously worked as a software development engineer for communications testers. Thomas has more than 20 years of experience in the wireless connectivity industry. He holds a degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Munich, Germany.
