Computers, servers and the people that operate them used to be the primary target of attackers. Due to increasing connectivity and dependence on networks, network equipment has become a frequent target for cyberattacks. The TCG’s document, “Guidance for Securing Network Equipment Using TCG Technology” describes how architects and designers can secure this equipment. Using those techniques, Infineon’s OPTIGA™ Trusted Platform Module (TPM) hardware and Mocana TrustPoint™ software can provide enhanced security to protect network equipment. This white paper describes the next steps to implement the trust and security required for today’s commercial, industrial and government networks.
