Infineon brings ready-to-use drone solutions to a high-potential, emerging market. For drones, flying is the most critical application in terms of performance, efficiency and control. Based on capacitive sensing principal, Infineon's DPS310 can help to enhance drone flight stability and height control with high accuracy and low current consumption. This capacitive barometric pressure sensor technology integrates both barometric pressure and temperature sensing into a single, ultra-compact 8-pin LGA form factor package that measures just 2.0 mm x 2.5 mm x 1.0 mm. Satisfying demanding energy constraints, the average current consumption is just 1.7 μA for pressure measurement (falling to only 0.5 µA in standby mode).
