Autonomous driving is an aspiration to multiple professionals within the automotive market segment. A key part to achieving the ambitious dream of autonomous driving is having connectivity to the backend network. A moving car will experience varying RF conditions which in return will affect the data connectivity. Testing real life scenarios in a lab environment is not only imperative for the safety of the passengers, but is necessary to ensure flawless autonomous driving. This paper covers how you can use R&S®CMWcards to emulate vehicle-to-network scenarios and test data connectivity in a lab environment.
