KITMPVZ5004EVK is a simple waterlevel evaluation board designed for easy connection. The filter circuitry has been added to the output of the sensor, and the only connections required are +5V, Ground, and the Vout to an ADC. The media resistant sensor is designed to measure up to 40cm of H2O via a tube that should be connected to the port.

In this lab a user can manipulate the pressure seen by the KITMPVZ5004EVK by way of a pressure chamber the user can pump air into or vacuum air out of. The analog output of the sensor is supplied to the analog-to-digital converter on Freescale's EVBQE128 in place of the voltage signal normally supplied via the potentiometer on board allowing the user to develop and test applications involving pressure sensing through TechOnline's VirtuaLabs.
