Abstract
By leveraging the underlying mechanisms of Eclipse, we expanded the applicability of Eclipse across the lifecycle. Eclipse has become our next-generation tools integration platform. However, Eclipse and the Eclipse C/C++ Development Tools (Eclipse CDT) code base alone are not sufficient for successful embedded development. That is why QNX offers a powerful set of Eclipse plug-ins in its QNX Momentics Development Suite - to address the needs of the embedded developer. During the seminar, the following topics will be covered:
- Eclipse and CDT Introduction
- QNX Momentics Development Suite
- Target Connection and Management
- Embedded System Debugging
- Embedded System Profiling
- Application Analysis: Memory, Code Coverage, Performance
- Multi-core Systems Development
- Embedding the Operating System and Applications
This seminar will give you a presentation of the industry's richest Eclipse-based tool suite customized and tailored specifically for embedded development.
Objective
The objective of this seminar is to show you how to extend the base Eclipse IDE with additional functionality to address the unique demands of the embedded software developer. Eclipse-based add-on tools are key to delivering superior products faster and with less effort. This seminar will help you learn how to optimize and accelerate your development:
- Optimize for quality, speed, and innovation through the support for the latest features in Eclipse C/C++ Development Tools (CDT)
- Use a single integrated IDE - the most highly optimized IDE for the embedded market
- Gain design flexibility by using feature-rich value-added functionalities designed specifically for embedded development
- Learn what tools are available today to support multi-core development
Join this seminar and learn how Eclipse can be used in the embedded development.
Who Should Attend
While this seminar is best suited for embedded software designers interested in learning how to optimize and accelerate development with Eclipse-based add-on tools, technical leads and project managers with QA responsibilities would also benefit from attending. Speaker Biography
