Analog Devices Introduces the Newest ADSP-219X Family Members
Overview:
This webcast will provide a technical overview of Analog Devices' new high performance ADSP-219x processors optimized for digital signal processing (DSP) applications. This new family of 16-bit DSPs maintains code compatibility with the popular 218x family, offering customers an easy upgrade path to double the processing performance.

Continuing the legacy of providing code-compatible DSP products, the ADSP-219x family provides a roadmap for software and preserves a huge library of off-the-shelf code. In the new 219x, ADI offers a 16-bit DSP architecture beyond 300 MIPS performance. ADI has made specific enhancements to the 2100 architecture that increases the efficiency of C code compilation. These enhancements include improvements to data addressing and register access while maintaining code compatibility. The new 219x also implements a high-performance, fully-transparent instruction cache while leveraging a single-cycle instruction execution, zero overhead looping and single-cycle context switching features of the 218x family.

Who Should Attend:
This webcast is targeted to new product development engineers/managers wishing to explore programmable signal and control processing options designed to significantly reduce their product's time-to-market.
