Get agile using scrum methodology in embedded development
Overview:
Agile methodologies are taking the software development world by storm. They promise rapid change adaptation, frequent software deliveries, increased quality metrics, better designed software and improved customer satisfaction. However, they are at distinct odds with traditional software development methods. Fear of the unknown can paralyze an organization from adopting new methodologies that are often viewed as a radical and scary departure from the norm.

Join us in this webinar for an introduction to agile development with Scrum. Once understanding the basics behind Scrum, we'll discuss in practical terms how QNX Software Systems has managed the inclusion of Scrum methodology in our software development process. We'll review the challenges we have faced in embracing agile methods, and the benefits and drawbacks of adopting Scrum methodology for the creation of reliability-critical embedded software.

Duration: 1 hour, including Q & A.

Who should attend: This seminar is best suited for software engineers in the general embedded market.
