Hot tips and tricks for the Eclipse IDE
Overview:
The Eclipse IDE is arguably the most popular embedded IDE on the planet and may already be part of your tool chain. If you're not using it to its fullest potential, you're not alone. So many features are packed into this IDE that cranking out high-quality C/C++ code using the fewest keystrokes can take years to master. With the demands on your time, learning more efficient ways to work often takes a backseat.

Take just one hour out of your busy day to learn dozens of shortcuts gathered from Eclipse developers who bathe in the Eclipse IDE on a daily basis. Discover time-saving features like:

  • auto code formatting
  • code folding
  • advanced search techniques
  • automatic refactoring of code
  • call hierarchy navigation
  • helpful keyboard short cuts
  • useful plug-ins
  • at-a-glance file comparison
