Rich's key responsibilities include setting the editorial direction for Embedded Systems Design magazine, the Embedded.com Web site, the global Embedded Systems Conferences, and the RFID World Web site and conference. Rich also handles the editorial for Embedded Systems Design Europe. He's been in the Electronics OEM industry for over 20 years. Before taking on the top editorial role for the Embedded and RFID franchises, Rich oversaw CMP's DesignLine network of design engineering Web sites. Prior to that, he spent six years as the Editor-in-Chief of Portable Design magazine, where he drove the editorial to new heights while launching a magazine and technical conference in China. Preceding that, Rich was a Technology Editor with Electronic Design magazine. He holds a BSEE degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Geoff Lees
Vice President of Microcontroller Product Line, NXP
Geoff Lees is vice president and general manager of the microcontroller product line at NXP Semiconductors. Geoff is responsible for product strategy, worldwide sales and the introduction of new microcontroller products to market. He manages the team that develops new product roadmaps and strategy for microcontrollers, with a focus on delivering a comprehensive, fully supported product line to market. Prior to joining NXP, Geoff was the North American director of marketing for Siemens Microelectronics' 8-bit and 16-bit product families. He has more than 20 years of experience working with microcontroller products in the semiconductor industry.

Reinhard Keil
Director of MCU Tools, ARM Limited
Reinhard is the director of MCU Tools at ARM Limited. Reinhard founded Keil Elektronik GmbH and was the co-author of the Keil C51 compiler, which has long been the de-facto industry standard compiler for 8051 processors. In 2005, the company was acquired by ARM, where Reinhard moved into his current role of managing all MCU tools strategy and development. He continues to be one of the most respected figures in the embedded software tools industry.



Jean Anne Booth
Chief Marketing Officer, Luminary Micro
With 21 years of high technology experience in executive management, marketing, and engineering, Jean Anne is particularly skilled in product marketing and design-in creation. She was an executive founder and the first VP of Marketing at startup Intrinsity, and a member of the Austin management team for startup Exponential Technology. She was most recently the Director of Marketing at Cirrus Logic responsible for the embedded microprocessor product line, where she drove Cirrus' first embedded product introductions in four years. Earlier in her career, Jean Anne worked with AMD's embedded microprocessor products for 10 years in a number of management, marketing, and engineering roles. Jean Anne holds a BSEE from the University of Texas and an MSCE degree from National Technical University.

Tim Dehne
Senior Vice President of R&D, National Instruments
Tim Dehne, senior vice president of R&D, leads the National Instruments global R&D organization and is responsible for product development and quality. In his nearly 20 years at National Instruments, Tim has helped shape the company's marketing and R&D departments and has played a significant role in expanding the company's operations around the globe. Dehne is recognized throughout the industry for his insight regarding measurement and automation industry trends and R&D management. Dehne earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering in 1987 from Rice University, where he also was a member of the Rice University baseball team.
