Overview:
Mitigation of Polarization Mode Dispersion (PMD) related impairments is of crucial importance for the commercial success of advanced high speed communication systems operating with speeds of 40 Gbps or in the near future with 100 Gbps. Various techniques are considered / employed to achieve this. This Webcast will discuss approaches for verification of the PMD tolerance of a system / receiver.
