World's first MEMS-based VCXO and Spread Spectrum Programmable Clocks
Overview:

SiTime's webinar will cover three topics: VCXOs, spread spectrum, and high speed serial communication clocks. First, learn about the lowest jitter programmable VCXOs in package sizes down to 2.5 mm x 2.0 mm. Not only are these VCXOs super-reliable, tough, and come in any frequency between 1 and 200 MHz, but they are very cost-effective and always in-stock. Next, learn about spread spectrum clocks in the smallest packages at great prices all made possible by SiTime's MEMS Technology. Finally, discover SiTime's new clocks awesome jitter performance ideal for Gigabit Ethernet, SATA, FibreChannel, PCI-X, and Video applications.

Presented by:

John McDonald, VP of Sales and Marketing

John McDonald came to SiTime from Cypress MicroSystems (CMS), a Cypress Semiconductor funded startup and makers of the popular PSoC microcontroller family. As VP of Marketing ('01-'05), he led a great worldwide marketing and applications team that grew the PSoC product family to be the fast-growing and high-margin success it is today. Prior to CMS, Mr. McDonald worked for Cypress Semiconductor and was part of the general-purpose and programmable clock marketing group ('98-'01) during a period in which non-acquisition sales grew by more than 5x. Mr. McDonald has also worked for Analog Devices in the Precision Op Amp group and as an advanced analog design engineer for 6 years in Washington State. John has his BSEE from the University of Washington, and has authored numerous technical articles.

SiTime Corporation develops MEMS Silicon resonators and related products. The MEMS First™ and EpiSeal™ process licensed from Robert Bosch GmbH has removed the technical barriers preventing wide acceptance of this quartz replacement technology. The key benefits of the technology are still to be fully realized in future value added components. These benefits include MEMS+CMOS integration, multiple resonators per die, and system benefits derived from a captive time source. SiTime's primary investors are Greylock and NEA venture capital firms as well as Robert Bosch GmbH. More information about SiTime and SiRes™ samples for select customers is available at www.sitime.com or www.sitime.jp. View the SiTime Privacy Policy.
