Touch Screens: The Magic Behind Multi-Touch
Overview:

Touch screens are the interface for the 21st century. Touch screens address the conflicting demands for smaller portable electronics with larger displays, by eliminating traditional buttons without sacrificing screen size. The recent release of the iPhone has created a buzz around touch screen interfaces and its multi-touch acrobatics have caught the eye of many industry leaders. What is multi-touch technology, and should it be in your next touch screen design? What benefits can multi-touch provide? What challenges might you face when designing with it? This webinar starts with the basics of multi-touch as it pertains to touch screens and reviews the benefits it can bring to a device. We will discuss target markets, applications and technical implementations and the design challenges involved with each.
