Overview:
AMCC, in cooperation with TeamF1, demonstrates a WLAN Access Point equipped with Enterprise-class software features. Working with TeamF1, AMCC has integrated TeamF1's Air Secure Access Point software or "ASAP" onto AMCC's "Taihu" development platform - a low-cost, easy-to-use evaluation kit for AMCC's highly popular, PowerPC 405EP processor. This seminar will be of interest to technical, marketing, and sales staff who are defining or designing next generation processor solutions for WLAN applications needing comprehensive software with advanced security features.

Prior to joining AMCC in September of 2005, Nick has spent over 17 years managing product development and high tech marketing programs for global markets with fortune companies including: IBM, Motorola and Dell. Since 1996 Nick has focused on semiconductor products used in the communications industry, including 56K analog and DSL modems, and for the past 7 years focusing primarily on 802.11wireless LAN. Nick is a voting member of IEEE 802.11 Working Group, participating in the development of the 802.11g and the new 802.11n standards and has published numerous papers and industry articles on communications and WLAN technologies. Nick earned a BS from University of Texas at Austin in 1982, and was a Naval Aviator for the US Navy from 1983 - 1989.
Deepak Kulkarni, Director of Business Development, TeamF1, Inc.
Deepak currently manages channel relationships for Europe and Asia. He has over 18 years experience in marketing and international sales of RF components and software in the OEM/ODM market space. Deepak holds a BSEE from Karnataka University and an MBA from University of Phoenix.
