Overview:
Effective troubleshooting of digitally modulated signals starts with the basics, i.e. a systematic troubleshooting/analysis sequence. The next step is relating the impairments you discover to their source in the transmitter block diagram. This webcast takes that next step. A brief review of a systematic troubleshooting sequence is presented before beginning the discussion of the sources of many common "real world" signal impairments found in digitally modulated signals and how they present themselves on a signal analyzer display.
This webcast is a follow-on to "Digital Demodulation and Troubleshooting Basics", available on-demand at www.agilent.com/find/webcasts.
Who should view this webcast: This webcast presents valuable information for RF or digital baseband engineers new to digital modulation testing, DSP/firmware/logic designers, comms board designers, and decision making influencers working in the Aerospace/Defense, Cellular Communications, and WiCON (wireless networking) industries.
