Stephen's responsibilities center on the definition of requirements and working with R&D to evolve Mentor's simulation solutions to fit customer's needs. He has been active in EDA standards activities such as chairing the IEEE VHDL 1076 working group and participating in the PSL 1850 working group. From 2004 through 2006, he served as the technical program chair for DVCon helping to institute conference innovations such as free, sponsored tutorials. Over fifteen years of EDA and electronics industry experience, he has served in R&D, applications, consulting, and technical and product marketing roles.
