Overview:
A modern cellular handset is hardly just a telephone anymore. Today's 3G systems integrate RF/Analog/Digital System on Chip (SoC) solutions with memory, graphics, storage, GSM radio, Bluetooth/802.11x radio, antenna, LCD, camera, MP3, and broadcast FM. Such complex integration adds new challenges for RF performance, system signal integrity, low power, and communications reliability. A higher level of simulation is needed with greater coverage of interaction across domains, model abstraction, and hierarchy. The trend toward System in Package (SiP) designs, which merge stacking dies of different technologies in a single package, also poses verification challenges involving different chip companies and package vendors, as well as models from various sources and design teams scattered all over the world making the task of verification even more complex.
This webinar will show you how to apply Cadence Virtuoso Multi-Mode Simulation technologies in the design and verification of wireless SoC and SiP
Products featured:
- Virtuoso Multi-Mode Simulation
- Virtuoso Spectre Circuit Simulator XL
- Virtuoso Passive Component Designer
- Cadence SiP Architect
Who should attend:
- RFIC designers building wireless transceivers, frequency synthesizers, power amplifiers and cellular and wireless networking applications
- RF system architects designing multi-band radios
- Analog and mixed-signal designers incorporating RF transceivers in their systems
- System and package designers involved in SiP integration
- CAD engineers supporting RFIC and RF SIP flows
