Accurate Verification of Next-Generation Custom Digital SoC and Memories in 65/45nm Technologies
Select 'Register' to attend this event or 'View Series' for more information on Cadence Simulation & Verification Webinar Series
Overview:
Today's SoC designs have an increasing proportion of high-speed custom digital components and embedded memories. What's more, memory designers are at the leading edge, using the smaller geometries with higher gate densities to provide increasingly larger high-speed, high-capacity memories for consumer products. These custom digital designs and memories are included in consumer electronics that have a very short time to market. Ensuring that the business opportunity is captured requires complete verification of these designs to ensure first-past silicon success. Numerous verification challenges: multiple power supplies with complex power management functions, large embedded memories with very high densities, and lower operating voltages affecting noise margins and timing where electromigration and IR drop effects can become the bottleneck.

This webinar will show how Cadence Virtuoso Multi-Mode Simulation provides the high performance and capacity to accurately verify these custom digital and memory designs to ensure that the functional, timing, electrical and power consumption requirements are being met.

Products featured:
  • Virtuoso Multi-Mode Simulation
  • Virtuoso UltraSim Full-Chip Simulator XL
  • Virtuoso AMS Designer with flexible analog simulation
Who should attend:
  • Custom digital designers building microprocessors, network processors, controllers, display and consumer electronic SoC
  • Memory designers (SRAM, DRAM, Flash)
  • CAD managers supporting verification flows for these advanced designs
