Improve Product Innovation Using Product Lifecycle Management
Overview:

Improving processes for product innovation and introduction is increasingly strategic for high tech/electronics companies trying to stay competitive in the marketplace. Executives must seek new ways to better manage new product development and introduction (NPDI) processes. For more and more high tech/electronics companies, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is the answer.

This net seminar features one of the foremost PLM experts, Michael Burkett from AMR Research, talking about what PLM is - and is not - and sharing tips for how high tech/electronics companies can establish a good justification and a strong cross-functional business case to support PLM. A leading high tech company - Lexmark International - then will sketch out the reasons they identified PLM as essential and how they put together a business case to support - and continue to measure - a PLM implementation. ENOVIA MatrixOne will also share some key product functionality specific to high tech/electronics companies looking to get started with PLM.

After viewing this net seminar you will know:
  • Why PLM is a must-have business application for leading-edge high tech/electronics companies
  • How to make a cross-functional, deep business case for PLM
  • How PLM can help high tech/electronics companies address areas such as part re-use, manufacturing visibility and supplier collaboration
Who Should View:
  • Managers/Directors/VPs of Product Management
  • Managers/Directors/VPs of Operations
  • Managers/Directors/VPs of Engineering
  • CIOs
