Innovations in Battery and Charger Technologies for Portable Electronic Devices
Overview:
Electrical and mechanical engineers designing portable electronic devices need to understand the latest technologies offered by battery, power management IC, and battery charger IC vendors.

This netseminar reviews common electrical and mechanical design challenges with portable devices, and then explains how new portable power technologies can overcome these challenges and improve the performance of portable devices. These innovations in portable power include safer battery chemistries, high current batteries, high voltage batteries, battery authentication techniques, accurate state-of charge measurement, advances in protection circuits, and fast charge regimens. You'll leave this session with practical and critical knowledge for designing, revising, or even troubleshooting the portable power aspects of a portable device.

Who should attend:
Design engineers, quality engineers, and engineering managers involved in designing, revising, or troubleshooting electronic devices that use batteries as primary or backup power sources.
