Tips for Migrating to Linux* on Intel® Architecture
Overview:
Developers of next-generation intelligent devices increasing build on Linux-based embedded platforms. These developers are attracted to Linux by a mix of technical and business attributes of the open source operating system (OS). And, they are taking the open source OS into projects ranging from communications infrastructure and networking to control, instrumentation and multimedia

This seminar is for developers considering migration to Linux on Intel® Architecture (IA) as a device software platform. Join William Weinberg of OSDL and Lerie Kane of Intel for this event. William Weinberg brings two decades of open and embedded systems experience to being an Open Source Architecture Specialist at OSDL. He helped found MontaVista and establish Linux as the new platform for intelligent devices. Lerie Kane is a Technical Marketing Engineer of Intel. Together they will help developers identify key OS dependencies, linkages, and discuss available tools for developers considering a migration from a legacy OS or from Wind River VxWorks* to Linux-based platforms on IA.
