Many handheld applications have significant low-power requirements. This article outlines a reference flow for an advanced low-power System-on-a-Chip (SoC) using the leading ARM 1176 microprocessor that can meet these demands. The flow provides an integrated flow across the various tools, and can be used by designers for the development of SoCs with the ARM 1176 processor to achieve very low-power for their designs.
