Designers of embedded systems are increasingly challenged by the need to balance demands in several economic vectors, including the time a product takes to get to market, cost effectiveness, market competitiveness, and product flexibility. In this paper we present a new solution for these challenges that provides system designers with a compelling alternative to custom embedded system design: Nextreme Structured ASICs.
