Today, differential signaling is becoming popular in high-speed data acquisition, where the analog-to-digital converter (ADC) inputs are differential. Most often, amplification, impedance matching, filtering, and level shifting are needed, and differential signal processing is required. As high performance ADCs continue to improve their performance, the last stage interface, and the filter from the final amplifier into the converter input becomes increasingly critical in the system design.
