This paper explains Anagram's Q5 Upsampling / Sample Rate Conversion (SRC) technology and shows how its dynamically, runtime configurable kernel can be used to deliver high-performance, cost effective digital-to-analog conversion for multimedia and consumer electronic systems. First, an overview of generic sample rate conversion is provided and it is shown how the Q5 Upsampling / SRC algorithm is specifically structured for low complexity, high-performance operation. We then show how it can be applied to high-performance digital audio systems with integrated digital-to-analog converters.
