Tools and Techniques for Fast Track Application Development on Freescale's i.MX27 Applications Processors
Overview:
Learn about the main features of Freescale's i.MX27 applications processors, built on the ARM926EJ-STM core. We'll pay particular attention to the Video Processing Unit and on-chip Ethernet MAC. We'll also discuss design considerations and then present a technical overview of the i.MX27 product development kit (PDK) which consists of a personality module, CPU module and debug module. We'll go over each module and explain how you can bring your product to market faster and at a lower cost. We'll wrap up with a brief overview of the i.MX27 IP Camera reference design.

What you'll learn:

  • The key differentiating IP blocks on the i.MX27 processors.
  • Overview of the i.MX27 PDK tool to rapidly design, debug and demo.
  • Overview of the i.MX27 IP Camera reference design which enables an OEM to quickly add their differentiating IP or go straight to manufacture
