DESCRIPTION This presentation is a brief, but detailed introduction to an exciting new product offering from Phoenix Contact. The QC (Quick Connect) 1.5 represents the next generation in I/O and low power terminations to the PCB. This new insulation displacement plug provides greater flexibility in wire selections compared to other IDC products currently available in the market. Fast termination of discrete, stranded wires provides a labor saving advantage during installation. A common screwdriver is all that is required to make a positive gas-tight connection. Andrew Bogaczyk first joined Phoenix Contact in 2005 working with industrial device connections. Since 2007, Andrew has been employed as a Product Marketing Specialist with COMBICON, the printed circuit board terminal block line for Phoenix Contact. His main product responsibilities include control or I/O terminal blocks, and building automation terminal blocks. Andrew holds a B. S. in Marketing from Messiah College.
