DESCRIPTION
Welcome to this course on common issues that arise from derivative control. Derivative control is very powerful, but it is also the most problematic of the control types covered in this series of courses because it usually needs high gain to be effective. This course addresses three most common problems: sensitivity to noise, high frequency oscillations, and sensitivity to sampling irregularities.
