DESCRIPTION
The intent of this course is to bridge a gap between a lack of formal control theory in today's computer science curricula and the need to teach practicing software engineers how to close control loops in software, which is one of the essential uses of embedded processors in mechatronics applications. The course presents a useful generic controller design and guidelines for its use through the use of real-world examples.
